Get involved in animal rescue. You won't be sorry. Your heart may break, there may be times when your eyes are red-rimmed for days. You may lose faith in the goodness of people, but your spirit will be renewed by the resilience of those you save. It isn't easy, but it's worth it. I promise you, you will be forever changed.
I would like to add (in Canada anyway) I absolutely LOVE Penningtons and Addition-Elle. I have found a few nice things from Cotton Ginny. A couple weekends ago I found some great stuff that fit really well at the Bay. Sometimes Sears has good Plus Size clothes, but no jeans! That's it for now.
I know I mentioned them in a previous post but I forgot to include the link so here is the link for New York & Co. http://www.newyorkandcompany.com/..they are one of my favorite places to shopt at & they go up to a size 18 I believe.

The sell "undershirts" that are really-long. I have four of them now and they have become wardrobe staples! Low-rise jeans seem to be the only ones that fit me correctly; but, (thanks to PCOS and my hairy back) I feel very uncomfortable when I bend over if any skin is showing.
So, I just wear one of these shirts underneath my top, tucked into my pants, and all is well! I am 5'8" with a long torso and they are still plenty long. They aren't very thick, which is good because I don't like unnecessary bulk.
They won't work for everyone though, because they only sell up to a size 2X. I wear a size 18 at Lane Bryant and the 2X shirts are a good size for me. They are pretty snug (I definately wouldn't wear one without another shirt over it); but, they do a good job at keeping my back covered!
I live in Northern California and found this store called Torrid. They sell clothes in sizes 12-28. Since I'm 24 I really wanted modern styles and had a hard time finding clothes my size. I tried Lane Bryant but didn't like the pants, for some reason they never fit me well. This store I really love and highly recomend!!!
