I have gotten nice clothing there before, but what I saw yesterday wouldn't stand more than 1-2 washings before it was destroyed. I had a $15 off anything in the store coupon and couldn't I couldn't find anything worth spending money on. Their Gitano line is supposed to be one of their better lines but the clothing was really cheaply made and the fabric was extremely thin and brittle. The acrylic sweaters balled up when I rubbed the fabric. They still had some decent jeans though and 1-2 nice blouses. Beware if shopping on line! Hopefully they will turn this around next season. Good luck all!

Points: 521.94 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 521.94 | I know that www.AmericanApparel.com has some plus size stuff only 2x and a little 3x, I haven't actually ordered anything so I don't know how well the clothes are sized or anything. But if anyone if into trends at all at least there are some options.
P.S. their ads and website are very risqué and NSFW! |

My Mood: Points: 883.61 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 883.61 | I always buy clothes at Fashion bug.. although i haven't been in a few weeks, so thanks Nan for the warning.... plus size clothing can sometimes be hit and miss i think... I do buy most of my clothing at fashion bug(cato's carries the same styles for the most part), or womanwithin.com(lane bryant)... i occasionally find goodies at wal-mart, target, jcpenney's and sears.... i also like avenue.. i have trouble finding button-up blouses that fit right, and avenue is good for that... i don't like alloy, because their sizes ARE sometimes decieving... i ordered clothes from there once and had to give them to my younger sister..lol haven't tried torrid.. catherine's is too "old ladyish" for me...lol sorry to those of you who shop there! ;c) Old navy is good, and they now go up to size 30! (it used to be only 26) hooray for them! :c) anyway.... i'm gonna have to check out some of the sites/stores i heard about and haven't tried! :c)

In the UK too Debenhams have created a 16 plus range called Gorgeous, which even tho some can be a little expensive, most of their stuff is Lush.
