Default Pms?

I used to never have PMS.

I've been going to acupuncture twice a week since late May of this year. I've had one cycle, and the PMS was terrible. Insane mood swings, fatigue, hunger, acne, etc.

Well I think AF is on its way because I'm starting to get moody again.

Any coping strategies? I don't like being *****y to my friends and sweetheart and I always feel guilty afterwards.

I guess I can deal with the fatigue (just sleep more! Always need more of that!) but I don't like the mood swings at all.

Do any of you get bad mood swings near AF?

I'm the queen of dr. jeckal/mr. hyde mood swings since I was a teenager. I'm not kidding. One minute I'm happy, then mad, then crying. It's no where near as bad as it used to be when I was a teenager, thankfully. I can't help with any tricks to cope with it. I just try my best to keep my attitude in check. It's not usual for me to not talk much while I'm pms'ing if I'm in a really grumpy mood. I'm like you, I hate taking it out on other people...unless they deserve it! I normally just use the old "breathe and count to 10" method.
