Angry PMS DURING period and after?!

I was just wondering if anyone else gets pms during their period and after.......mine starts about one day before I start and I do not feel better until I ovulate.......after I ovulate I fell wonderful until about one day before I start. My period itself is normal , last from 4 to 5 days...one day of heavy bleeding.....I just feel depressed, low energy, moody......just blah!!! Today is day 3 and I skipped work because I just felt so yucky!! I am not anemic as I have been checked but I do take a iron supplement.......I take a daily vitamin and just the past few months started supplementing with Calcium + D...mmmm could that be the problem too much calcium...anyway, I know our hormornes drop when we start menses.....could I just be really low on some hormorne.....is there something I could supplement with? I thought about npc but don't you usually use that from ovulation until menses.......I feel great after ovulation so I don't feel like I need it then........sorry rambling now!! Any suggestions would be wonderful!! Doc wants me to go on BCP but I have been that route before and was more miserable.........Thanks again

I am always PMS-y
PRE-menstrual
PRESENT-menstrual
POST-menstrual

My doc has said that calcium supplements are supposed to be good for mood particularily around AF time.

BCP, aside from terrible physical sideeffects, made me more moody and miserable.

Hope you find something that works for you (nothing like a day off work!)

Good luck!
