Default PMS question...

I am a horrible PMS'er. When I'm PMS'ing absolutely EVERYTHING irritates me. Anyway, this is happening approximately every 28 days. But, my cycles are between 38 and 39 days. Is this unusual. If PMS is every 28 days shouldn't AF be every 28 days too?

Do any of the over the counter meds help this?

Thanks.

I have never been like this in the past, but since having my son 20 months ago.. I feel like this as well I am going too see my OB Next wk, and I am going too ask him about this. I have this rage that does NOT sit well with me, and it scares me too be honest with you!

I have tried alot of the OTC stuff, like Midol and pamprin, and those did nothing for me. I wish I could offer you some thoughts, but I am at a loss

Hopefuly you can find something too help you through this *hugs* and I feel ya!

PMS usually runs the week prior to AF... So for symptoms to start on CD28 sounds normal... Sorry you are having it so rough though... I hope that the doctor will have some answers for you... Midol usually works for me... Good Luck

It is so nice to know that I am not alone. My family hates me during that time. They call me the Super "B...." LOL

I get horrible pms too. I'm on meds for depression, Zoloft 200mg, and it has helped but a couple days before my period I get very easily agitated. It's a lot better than having fits of rage over NOTHING but it still upsets me. I try to stay to myself as much as possible during this time. I usually take Aleve and have DH watch our DS so I can sleep!
