Poem about our Angels

Hi ladies -

my friend shared this poem with me just recently. I thought it was beautiful and thought some of you might enjoy it as well.

I'll Be There!!

Daddy please don't look so sad, Mommie please don't cry.
Cause I am in the arms of Jesus and he sings me lullabies.

Please try not to question God, Don't think he is unkind.
Don't think he sent me to you, and then he changed his mind.

You see, I am a special child, and I'm needed up above.
I'm the special gift you gave him, the product of your love.

I'll always be there with you, and watch the sky at night.
Find the brightest star that gleaming, that's my halos brilliant light.

You'll see me in the morning frost, that mists your window pane.
That's me in the summer showers, I'll be dancing in the rain.

When you feel a gentle breeze from the wind that blows
That's me, I'll be there, a kiss on your nose.

When you see a child playing and your heart feels a little tug.
That's me I'll be there, giving your heart a hug.

So, Daddy Please don't look so sad, Mommie don't you cry.
I'm in the arms of Jesus, and he sings me lullabies.

Glad you enjoyed. I'm the same way love to read them but cry ever time. I just got this one and it really touched me because it said exactly what I wanted to about - loving something so much you never seen or held.

Crying, but who do I cry for,
I never even knew you,
I have no memories in my heart,
that I can hold on tight to.
Grieving but how can I be,
I never even held you,
How can I lose what I never had?
How can I be lonely without you?
Missing you. I can’t explain it,
I wouldn’t know where to start,
You barely ever existed at all,
Except for within my heart.
And yet I cry,
I miss; I grieve, for someone I've never seen,
But I'm crying not for what I lost, but more what might
have been.
but now with faith and trust in god, I move on and try
once more, one day this will be over, and in my heart
I’m sure.
For the sadness and pain of losing you,
one day fate will undo, and this pain will be a memory,
and my dreams will all come true.
But sitting high upon your cloud,
always know that still,
I have no regrets,
I will never forget, and I promise I never will.
So with a prayer and a kiss I let you go,
and for now I say goodnight,
until the day I meet you there, my little angel,
sleep tight....

Those poems are wonderful! wow, didn't think I would cry... lol Those are definately going with the rest of my baby art. Thanks so much for saring, I really think it helps the healing process!!
