I stand glittering,
Perched on the edge of my soul;
Yet afraid to step out
Into the unknown abyss alone.
I am filled up inside
Complete;
With all of the courage
And enthusiasm in the world.
Yet the minute these feelings are expelled
They scatter aimlessly into the starless night.
Leaving me alone with only a vague hope
And dreams.
