 Poems for Grace
I never got to hold you
or feel you kick inside
But I will always have you
my little joy, my pride.
I may have never held your hand
or kissed your little face
but in my heart you'll always be
My little baby Grace.
Grace Ellyn
was born into the arms of God
and watches over thee
and even though I cannot hold you
my baby you'll always be.
Everyday I think of you
and not a day goes by
that Mommy doesn't miss you
and often even cry.
I know that God had plans for you
and brought you up above
Still I wish to hold you
and give you all my love.
But Grace Elly please do not fret
for Mommy wants to say
that for now you are my angel
and I will hold you someday.
Rock a bye baby
asleep in the sky
our little angel
with wings , she does fly.
Into the heavens
my baby does play
I love you in my heart of hearts
although you're far away.
Rock a bye baby
with Jesus you stand
til the day Mommy
can hold your tiny hand.
