After going to the RE for the first time, I was somewhat surprised by the initial costs. I did have an ultrasound, several blood tests, and an initial 60 minute consultation.

Insurance will cover most of it..and my deductible will be met in January, but the overall cost was $1170.00! Is this average? Anyone want to share?

$300.00 for visit
$300.00 for U/S
$1,300.00 for bloodwork
Plus some other lab fees but I don't remember what those were
I also had to see a nutritionist at their office the same day which cost me ~$80 not covered by my insurance

Oh well. I'm preggers now right?

I do have kick*ss insurance, which is $600.00 a month paid by my employer (small company). It covered all but $300.00 of the cost.
