"10. IT WAS INCONCEIVABLE
Diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome at the age of 20, Posh was amazed when she unexpectedly got pregnant with first son, Brooklyn. Doctors had told her there was no chance she could conceive without medical intervention."
I had read that several time - do a search on "Posh" or "Beckham" on the boards and you will likely find more threads about her and PCOS.
Perhaps I am wrong, but I think that I read that during an interview she might have attributed her thinness to PCOS. I think that there were a variety of reactions to this - PCOS is not generally thought to be a cause of thinness by most of us (sort of the opposite) - although I think that PCOS in "ThinCysters" might be particularly misunderstood. I sort of think that it is positive any mention PCOS gets and I think it is brave of her to be open about it. (You sort of have to ask yourself if you would choose to be open about it if you were in her situation - even though I think it is the right thing - I am not sure I would ). I also would not be surprised if there was a women with undiagnosed out there somewhere fat or thin who was a little weight obsessed and did a search on "PCOS" based on that comment - and found at least some of the answers she was looking for.
I really do wonder what her treatment plan is given the fact that she looks so good and presumably has great resources available to her for managing PCOS. Maybe she knows things that the rest of us don't know!

Metformin destroyed my digestive system
Now on Avandamet, which is a wonder drug. Can't recommend it highly enough. Ask your doctor for it if you're worried about Metformin side effects.
I also have ME, hence the "tired" user name.
Contemplating hysterectomy but have to lose weight first.
Yup. I feel for her when she gets such a hard time from the media about being so skinny. Hell if I managed to lose that much weight that I was as small as her I'd be freaked out about putting it back on and not being able to have any more kids and symptoms returning/worsening.

Yeh thats one of the reasons I like Posh and I wish people would stop critising her in the media all the time. She did say her PCOS is the reason she is so thin, I think she actually means the meds made her like that? Not sure if she is on metformin you know....
She does low carbs and low GI as standard diet
I do admit that she may have an eating disorder, when her hubby supposedly cheated on her she turned into a skeleton, it was quite disturbing.
