After my disappointing CD 12 scan where my doctor told me I had no hope for this cycle because my follicles were only 10mm I've been charting and taking OPKs.

Lovebug your situation sounds like mine. Yesterday was my cd 12 and I went in for an u/s. The nurse told me that my follicle was only a 10mm and it needed to be at least 20mm. She made it seem like this cycle wasn't going to be a bust due to my follicle size on cd 12 and that I will probably have to start over next month. I was heartbroken so I know the feeling of wanting to rub something like this in your doc's face. What cd are you on and are you taking Clomid? How many mg's? Sorry for all the questions. :-)

I'm currently on CD 18 and I was on clomid 100mg taken days 5-9. When I do ovulate on my own it's usually around CD 23 my first cycle of clomid was 50mg taken days 3-7 and I ovulated day 21. So I'm right on track of where I should be. Hopefully you will get a positive OPK and ovulate too!

I'm surprised your dr was so negative after seeing 10mm follies on cd12. There was lots of time (as you are proving to him now) to still mature and ovulate.
