Post is it possible to get cysts......

Is it possible to get cysts on the outer body parts? I have a very painful knot and I am not sure what it is? Last night I had a crying jag. My husband was so sweet. He got me a heating pad, went to the store and got me some pain medicine. I am so tired of hurting and being sick. I am always bloated. Does it ever get any better?

I'm wondering where this "knot" is? From what I've read in this website, it's not uncommon to get them on your thighs or under your arms. I have them too. And they are VERY painful. Almost like the biggest underskin pimple you could imagine. And they scar...not very fun at all. I feel bad for ya if that's what your "knot" is like.

Default knot

The knot is on the labia, or lip of my vagina-sorry if too much info. I wasn't sure. I am really frustrated b/c I called my endocronologists and his secretary said he doesn't deal with PCOS. I know that isn't true, but his wife is normally the one working and she wasn't there. I then called my gynocologists and I have moved so they told me I needed to find a new doctor as soon as possible and go see them. I have been having pain for the past few days really bad and nothing I take seems to help. Any advice?

I will say from personal experience, and it's probably too personal, but I have had a few on the outer labia. They aren't like the others....they've always been just like you said. "Knots". I would find a doctor and make sure that's what it is. Just to be on the safe side.

And don't give up on the Doctor hunt. I had said before I go to the a Nurse. She's also a midwife. And she's done what no other doctor I've ever seen has...she figured out what was wrong with me! So maybe that's an idea for you?

Good Luck and I wouldn't worry to much about the knot, it should go away on its own. I know it's hard not to think about cuz it's painful and embarrassing. But it's not overally unusual ya know?

And as far as helping with the pain..I don't know what to tell ya. The only thing I've ever found that works on stopping them from coming so much is, believe it or not...skin bleach. The stuff most people use for sun spots or freckles. But I don't think I'd use it where you have it. I do know that I've been on my meds for about a week and a half and they aren't as bad as they were...don't know if its connected, but Lord I hope so.
