Default Is it possible lose weight and be thin?

I was just wandering if it is actually possible to lose weight and be skinny for the rest of your life. I have heard of women losing weight with pcos but they were still a little chubby even when they lost weight. Has anyone lost a lot of weight and stayed thin for more the 2 or 3 years?

I believe there are some ladies on here who have lost the weight and been able to maintain it. I'm still a work in progress. I lost 50 lbs and have kept it off for a year. My Dr is pleased with things the way they are, but I still want to lose another 30 lbs. But it gets harder.

Mhm it does get harder. I have been slowly losing for a bit over a year now, so it is possible to take it off. I don't believe I will put it back on because I made lifestyle changes instead of a diet I would go off of eventually. But as for being thin I'm not sure I will ever be. I believe I will always have some pudge on my belly and upper arms. Some of us just aren't supposed to be waifs, or at least thats what I tell myself

I think maybe it's possible to get "thin" or "slim" depending on your build and how muscular you are, but it's probably harder to maintain due to the fact that many women with PCOS have to be really strict with exercise and eating the right way.

I am not sure if many of us could ever be "lanky" though, although I am sure there are some women on here who are.
