possible ovulation?

Hello ladies,

Can someone please help me out? This morning I woke up with what felt like menstral cramps that I usually experience when I start my period. I was hoping that it wasnt because I just had 2 weeks ago. I had the pain for about an hour and a half and then it started to slowly subside. I had some discharge and I think it was the egg white discharge that you get when you ovulate. Its been so long that I don't remember if I ever had pain like this. Does this sound like ovulation? Just as a side note I have been getting my period every 28-30 days for the last four months since I started taking my Actos regularly and watching what I eat. Is it possible that maybe because its been over a year since I've ovulated that maybe thats why it hurt like that. Although I'm not complaining because I'll take the pain if I have a somewhat normal reproductive cycle.

Hi,

The sharp pain you mentioned could be a cyst rupturing on the ovary or perhaps just a uterine contraction,since you have just recently finished your period.White discharge could be ovulation but it could also be just normal cleansing of the uterus that happens normally.I would talk to your doctor about it,and then consider investing in an ovulation thermometer to track whether you are ovulating or not!

When I ovulate which is next to never but if I don't the doctor gives me a shot to make me ovulate and I have sharp pains sometimes that go away. I would get an ovaulation stick. I use Clearblue EAsy. It is simple you have positive or negative results in 3 minutes and is very accurate. If you are around day 12 or I would definately get some and test to be sure. It is cheaper than having an ultrasound to find out. lool
