Hello-
5 years ago I went to an endochronologist about the hair that seemed to be taking over.
After very expensive bloodwork nothing was confirmed. He said it looks like PCOS, but that can be confirmed with an ultrasound (which after my insurance company refused to pay for bloodwork I didn't proceed any further)
Now that I am married I'd like to try to get pregnant and have scheduled an ultrasound with my new gyno. to check for cysts (and hopefully overall apperance of the reproductiv regions
My question is: Is it expected that I will be given a vaginal ultasound initially?
Do I need to request a vaginal ultrasound to be 100% sure of PCOS.
(I am living outside the US on tiny island and not sure the doctor's here are equipped for
vaginal.)
TIA
Greta
