Just noticed that when I post my post count does not go up. For instance, on 8.3.09 I posted a comment and my post count was at 311. Today, 8.7.09, I post another comment different forum and the post count is still 311. Am I missing something?
There are certain threads that are kinda like clubs. The same members post all the time such as August due dates, or OV Watchers etc. The purpose of that was to encourage people to post in all groups vs just a select few. From the main screen you should be able to see them listed as TTC buddy threads or Pregnancy buddy threads etc. I don't know how clear that was but maybe you can get a better explanation from the board functions thread.

Not all parts of the forum affect post count. But for the most part, it really doesn't matter. Participation in various sections will eventually increase your count.
