Default post HSG period

Hi, girls! I hope I'm asking this on the right board... I'm new to the site and really excited to explore it more! So here's my situation and question...

I finally got my period back after 7 years thanks to a healthy diet, exercise and metformin, and it has been fairly regular (between 28 and 31 days) since September. On April 4th I had an HSG done. I've been tracking my temperature and taking OPKs this month and have no indication of ovulating this month. I expected my period yesterday, but have absolutely NO PMS symptoms. Is it common to miss your period the month of your HSG? I'm just worried that my period is going to go away again!

Thanks!

I haven't tested because I don't have any symptoms what-so-ever. I had an ectopic pregnancy last summer (hence the HSG), and I definitely had symptoms then, but they were pretty much identical to my PMS symptoms. Also, I never did have any evidence of ovulating. I will probably test some time this week anyway because I know if I call my doctor for Provera she'll ask if I took one. That'd be great if that's what it is, but my hopes are not high.

I would try a pregnancy test. I got pregnant the month after I had the HSG. I also had signs of regular PMS and the ovulating kits never worked for me.

Good Luck!

Oooo! I think I ovulated!!! I had a temp drop this morning and just had some clear slick discharge I guess I'm just late in the game this month! If I don't start AF in a couple weeks I'll take a test or if I don't start having PMS symptoms next week I'll take a test. My PMS always starts around ovulation, so I get 2 full weeks of "fun". UGH!
