Default Victoria/Melbourne Big Girls group

The Endocrine and Metabolic Service at the Royal Womens Hospital in Melbourne provides a group program for overweight women with polycystic ovarian syndrome which aims to improve reproductive health and general well-being. This group is called The Big Girls' Group. They should have a mid year intake coming up soon or you can ask about the waiting list.

I'm seeing a Dr Patton (Gynocologist) In Rockingham western australia, he is very nice makes you feel very comfortable. He also relaxed me a bit so i didnt feel to upset when i was DX. It took me 3 months to see him then I go back in 6 weeks to get my results and start treatment for mild Pcos. I was refered to him by my dr, my grandmother was refered to him when he discovered a cysts the size of an egg on her right ovary, she was quickly DX and was soon in hospital to have the cyst removed she is now doing well!

Hi there, if anyone is near Albury/Wodonga, I was seeing a naturopath in Albury at Healthy Life health food store who is really awesome! Her name is Shirley, the consult with her is free, you just pay for the herbs/supplements prescribed. She works Tues/Wed and Friday mornings.

I have been referred to Reproductive Medicine Albury by my gp, to Dr. Scott Giltrap who is sposed to be very good - had to book my appt with him about 6 weeks in advance though!! and requires referral from doctor for appt. has anyone been there already??

Dr Alwyn Dunn - he's in Carrara. I thought he was wonderful - he shows a lot of concern, is very thorough. Someone else earlier in this thread recommended him - if you go back a few pages you can read more about him. I'm still wishing I could find someone as good as him over here in Perth.
