My name is Sandra and I am so grateful for this site. I wish I had found it sooner.
My struggle with no sighn of af's began at the age of 15. Was told i had some cyst, then given provera and told to give bcp's a try. I was never good at taking pills daily so I stopped. I kept have to many bleeding episodes.

In 1993 got married and right away we began ttc. Needless to say we had problems. Was able to get bfp 4 times only to loose them later on.
I was diagnosed with pcos after my first miscarriage. About 4 years later.
I was put glucophage (only 500mg) and clomid. I got 3bfp with that treatment, but went on to loose those.
In early 03 was also diagnosed with type II. After aggressively treating my diabetes, controlling my sugar levels and losing a little weight, i became pregnant on my own (no clomid or fert drugs-just met and some insulin) with twins. They were born on our 10 year anniversary.
Although i struggle daily with the effects of having pcos and type II, i would like to offer many of you inspiration and hope. The 10 of infertility and ttc was a terrible rollercaoster ride of emotions. I thought i would never have my family. But with a Dr who immediatly diagnosed me and treated me quickly (for pcos) I was able to start on the road that would fullfill (and very much did) my dreams.
We will start ttc next month or so for our next child (God willing) And i hope i can get support here and also give it out when needed.
This Site is GREAT!!!!!!
