Default yep

I've been taking Vitex since 9/1/03....last month, temping confirmed an O and it looks like I did this month as well!

I'm a cyster whose always had FAIRLY regular cycles...28-35 days. Last month, I O'd on CD 14...this month, I believe I did the same thought Fertility Friend has yet to confirm.

There are TONS of threads on Vitex here on the board...do a couple of searches and I'm sure you'll find all the info you need.

I was having NO cycles until I started Vitex (May 27m 2003).

I confirmed O in June by Mittelschmerz pain, EWCM, and 14 days later AF arrived.

I again confirmed O in July the same way, with AF 14 days later.

I have been having cycles ever since.

The cycles have been around 40 days total length (give or take 3 days or so either way). I have been O'ing on CD 22-28 and having AF 14 days later every time.

I have researched on the web and supposedly for the most part a long follicular phase (late O) is not supposed to cause too many problems. It said that even "regular" women sometimes have this all of their lives (my mom did). Obviously, the longer the cycle the fewer times per year you ovulate and that in itself make PG harder because you have fewer chances. I have heard theories that late O caused miscarriage, but I would say that is late O caused by a problem.

GOOD LUCK WITH VITEX!!!

Thanks for sharing Stacie. I never had AF either. I started vitex aug 1 and just had AF for the 1s time since starting the vitex. I'm not sure if I o'd the 1st time or had AF 1st. I on CD 10 now and feel a little "action" down there....lol I just don't think it's strong enough to be o. I used NPC on cd 14-28 along w/ vitex. I got Af about a week later. I'm trying to decide whether I should use the NPC again or not. It seemed to work the 1st time. I just don't know when to start it again. I'm wishy washey....can't decide.
