My best friends has MS. She was diagnosed in 05. Since her diagnosis I have been attending MS support groups with her. Last week after attending the meeting I decided that I wanted to do something for all of these amazing people living with MS. I love to make crafts etc. So I decided that I would make a prayer bracelet for everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the pattern for one at. By pattern I mean the bead colors, and wht each bead stands for. I am thinking there are little cards that come with them telling you wht the beads mean. It might not be called a prayer bracelet. I can't remember. So if anyone knws please let me knw. Thanks....

Carey - you could make your own - find beads that you think represent their clhallenge and then by you putting them together, it would be very personal - and probably cheaper.

Great idea! I tried a google search for you but it was pretty unsucessful
I do have a suggestion though. You could add a shimmery bead with lots of colors to represent the unpredictable nature of multiple sclerosis, and the ways it changes peoples' lives. This is what the MS Ribbon of Hope looks like & I thought it was a neat idea. My DH has MS so I definitely know what your friend (& you) are going through. PM me if you ever want to talk! GL!

I've never really heard of a prayer bracelet...at least not to my knowledge. could someone explain for me?
I know what a Salvation Bracelet is, but I don't think they are the same thing...
It's pretty much the same thing. Different colored beads stand for different things like faith, hope, love, charity, etc. as a way to reflect on your faith. I think a prayer bracelet is more of a general faith thing where a salvation bracelet is for people struggling to overcome something (addiction, etc.) Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

I've never heard of a prayer bracelet either. I have had Salvation braceletes (to lead someone to the Lord, witnessing) and Purity braceletes (promise of chastity), but I've never seen prayer braceletes. Sounds intresting. Post a pic when you get them made!
I will!! Haven't got to them yet. But plan on it soon.
