 Update
Well, my co-worker saw the surgeon yesterday and found out that his condition is not as serious as he was led to believe. So there is no need for the surgery in the immediate future.
Now, I'm worried about him because come to find out he actually wanted the surgery. When he told us the news last night he actually seemed sad about it. The only thing I can figure is that he saw this as a way to receive sympothy and attention at a time when he doesn't think anyone cares for him.
I'm glad he doesn't need major surgery but now I'm worried about his mental state of mind.
Again, please keep him in your prayers.
