Tomorrow (yes, on April Fool's Day!!) DH will be having surgery on his knee. He tore his ACL during a soccer game and needs to have it reconstructed.
It will be a long road ahead for his rehabilitation, but in the present time I am asking you all to keep him in your thoughts & prayers. He's never had surgery before so this is making him (& ME!!) quite nervous.

PS--His surgery is scheduled for 730AM EST on April 1st!!

Praying here in CT for wisdom and skill in surgery for Tom's docs as they repair his knee and for a speedy and uneventful recovery. Praying for courage for Tom- I can imagine any impending surgery is frightening, even if you are a big tough guy like Tom.
Let us all know how it goes for him Lisa- I'll keep the prayers coming!

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!! They certainly helped!! I told DH I sent the prayer wagon out for him...lol!
He pulled through his surgery fine. He's in a lot of pain, but he's doing well with his therapy. It's a long road ahead of him for recovery, but he's healthy & in good shape so the outcome looks good.

I'd like to thank you for yet another prayer being answered. I thank you for Lisa's DH's recovery and I pray for healing in the name of Jesus! I pray that he would come through this obsticle with such a testimony and would be able to help others through similar situations. I pray for an abundance of blessings for this couple and lift their lives up to you Lord. I am glad that his surgery went fine. I have been praying for you and your dear husband. Cole has worked in the orthopedic surgery for a long time, so I asked him about the procedure - it does not sound like fun.

YOUR HUBBY IS IN MY PRAYERS. HOW ARE YOU DOING? DID YOU READ THE ADOPTION BOARD? YOU'LL HAVE TO, I HAVE WONDERFUL NEWS ON THERE. I HAD KNEE SURGERY LAST JUNE AND I KNOW IT ISN'T FUN, BUT I HOPE HE KICKS BACK INTO THE SWING OF THINGS VERY SOON!!! TELL HIM TO DO THAT PT. IT DOES HELP....IT'S HARD BUT IT WILL HELP IN THE LONG RUN.

Thanks for asking, Laural! Tom is doing well. He is keeping up on his PT 3X/week and working out his upper body all 5 days. It seems like he'll still be out of work until the end of June, but we'll see as time gets closer.
