I grew up in and around Mobile, Alabama. I lived the majority of my life there and absolutely love my hometown. Its now facing Hurricane Ivan and I'm very nervous about it. I have lots of family and friends in and around that area (including my Grandparents in Mississippi) and wish there were something I can do to help them. So please, if you are a praying person, pray for my family and friends and everyone along the Gulf Coast who will be affected by this monster of a hurricane. Thank you and God Bless.

I'm sending my prayers as well. My roommate has several friends in Pensicola. And there is significant damage due to torandos and flooding all along the east coast through alamabma, georgia, florida, the carolinas, and through virginia as well. And there's no reprive in sight, as there are two more hurricanes on the way.

But there is good news. Even if you don't live in this area.. you CAN help. Give blood! If you are able, please give blood to the red cross along with your prayers.
