My Mood:  Points: 14,948.79 Bank: 41,201.04 Total Points: 56,149.82 |  prayers for my grandma please...i am so worried!
my grandma is 78 and she recently had some health trouble that ended up with a gastroscopy,a dx of gastritis/reflux and a conseguent tx.
today she went to do a total abdomen u/s as her gastroentherologist ordered.
she was supposed to go pick up the results on fri but in the afternoon they called from the hospital and asked her to go back tomorrow and talk to the doctor again.
she called me up to tell it to me and she was very very upset..i went to her and told her she has nothing to worry about, maybe the u/s images didnt turn out properly.. that is common...
but i know it's not. i work in a hospital. i see lot of awful things. and i am scared to death she has something seriuos. i lied to my dad too because he kinda relied on me to reassure him.. and while i am happy to make him feel better i just am so worried and scared to have to carry the whole burden alone.. please please please keep her in your prayers i love her so much..
i am going with her tomorrow morning and i just wish this will turn out in nothing serious instead of something scary..

So sorry to hear about the health problems! My grandma and I are very close, though she lives in Michigan and I'm in Alabama. At least you get to be with her and your family. I will say a prayer for her!!

Awwww....I'm so sorry to hear that your grandmothers not doing so great right now. I'm sure everything will work out for the best, your grandmother and your family are in my thoughts

we went to the doctor this morning and they just had to repeat the u/s to the right kidney because the pic they printed wasnt good.. omg i am so relieved!!!!!!!!!!! i would be totally ok when i'll see the results on friday but i wish that if they sow something bad they'd tell us!!!!! thinkin about it thay could have told us at first that that was the reason they were calling us back... (sorry lots of hypothetichal periods.. lots of mistakes i guess lol)
my grandma was so upset that when we came out of the hospital decided to go shopping! lol

I am glad that everything turned out okay. Hope all the best for your grandmother in years to come. My grandmothers 90 years old, and my grandfathers 88. She's still pretty good for her age, but she worries me every day when she trys to do more than she should. My grandfather is starting to loose his memeory. but hes not as bad as he makes us out to think  She was brought up in England, She is Strongly Stubborn.

my grandma is strong as steel as well.. she is the one that while in ER for a suspected heart attack caused a riot in the waiting room because she told a lie and made me enter in the ER visiting rooms while i should not (i didnt know i shouldnt, she told me and the security agent the doctor wanted to talk to me!!!) so when i came in a group of other people waiting there as well started to scream an made a scene against me and i had to go out from the back door.. no kidding
