I really need some prayers right about now. I’ve been through so much over the past few months and have felt very alone. I moved (major life adjustment for me), got a surprise BFP and miscarried all in the course of a few months. I’ve had to give it all to God because I just can’t handle questioning all this and obsessing over the what-ifs.

During the ultrasound after the miscarriage, my doctor noticed that my uterus is abnormally shaped. Turns out that I may have a septate or bicornuate uterus and I’m scheduled for a HSG tomorrow for a closer look. If my miscarriage had any purpose at all, it was to uncover this.

I feel alone and scared. Even my FDH doesn’t understand. He has children from a previous marriage and does not understand infertility or what it’s like to ache for a child. I really am trying to stay proactive and positive in all this, but today is one of those days.

Positive thoughts and prayers from all of you would be very much appreciated.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I would try to tell your DH what you need from him right now- tell him how to comfort you, and try to express to him what you are going through. This helped me when I was going through my fertility treatments- my DH wanted to help me feel better, and when I told him what I needed it really helped. You also have a lot of support on this board. The infertility forum really helped me cope. My faith in God also helped me get through it. Please remember that you are not alone

Thank you so much for replying and congrats on your daughter! I do talk openly with my FDH about all this but I'm finding that there are some issues that he truly doesn't understand. I just hope and pray that God carries us through all this in a good way.

The good news is... My HSG went very well on Friday. It was VERY painful but it turns out that I do not have any issues with my uterus or tubes! Yay! Praise God.

I really need to put all this aside for a while and just have faith. Thanks again for your support!

Ms Tara, I think your last line in your signature from Matthew 21:22, says it all. We have the power of life and death in the tongue and have but to call things that aren't as though they were and it shall come to be according to the will of God. I like to think God has a sense of humor and that He answers our prayers in ways we wouldn't expect. So I'd say, continue praying and grow in faith that God hears you and will answer. Expect that God will do a "new thing" in your life, in a way you hadn't considered.
