Prayers needed for my Mom.....having breast biopsy tomorrow

Hello~

My mom found a breast lump about a month & a half ago. I told her to go into the doctor, but she didn't until this week.
She had a mammogram and ultrasound....the mammogram showed nothing....but the ultrasound showed a 2cm mass with slight swelling of 2 surrounding lymph nodes.

I know that 80% of all breast lumps are non cancerous...but I'm worried sick & can't stop thinking about this. The worst part is...she'll have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to get the results!!

If any of you have any stories to share, that would be wonderful.
I just really needed to tell someone about this & I knew that my cysters would understand.

Prayers for my Mother would be GREATLY appreciated.

It's hard not to worry especially when you have to wait for answers. My prayers are with you. Hope all is well!

Heavenly Father, I take the time to pray right now for Sarah's mother. Father I pray that you would be with this family through this difficult time. Sarah is worried about her mother, I pray you would bring her peace and comfort. Let her know You are with her and her mother. Lord, please place your hand of protection over Sarah's mother. I pray that these tests would show her to be in good health. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.
It really means a lot to me and I hope the Lord is listening.

It's agonizing to have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to get the results. I wish they could come up with something a little faster.

New......not good

I'm so sad right now I just don't know what to do.

My Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer today. My sister and I have been with her all afternoon. I've never had to deal with anything like this before. I'm not even concerned about myself, I just feel so badly for Mom, I wish I could make it go away.

She has stage 2 invasive ductal cancer. She goes to the doctor again on Friday & may have surgury as early as next week.

It's so hard for me to keep my faith.....

I just hope to God it hasn't spread any futher.....

Lord Jesus, I come to you this minute to pray for this family. I pray for peace of mind, and a great rest. Lord You know whats going on in moms body.....I come against ANYTHING that isn't supposed to be in her body...I ask for healing and VICTORY over this CANCER in the Mighty name of JESUS!!

Lord I know that these situations can help us to lose sight of Your greater power.....I know that you have the power to conquer great mountains...Lord, Your words says ask and it shall be given unto you, SEEK and you shall find, Knock and the door shall be opened unto you....Lord, We are asking for HEALING and MIRACLES. Sarah's mother is "COVERED IN THE BLOOD OF OUR ALMIGHTY JESUS CHRIST" Who died so that we may LIVE!!

Sarah says her faith is being tested.....Well Lord, show her that all she needs is the faith of a mustard seed.....You say this in Your word....YOU DO NOT LIE....YOUR WORD IS THE LIVING TRUTH!! I pray that this family overcomes ALL these obsticles and that mom is said to be healthy and new by the blood of Jesus Christ. I pray that all those around her would gather in deep prayer and lift her up. I pray that others would lift the family up in prayer.

I come against any sadness that the family feels..........I ask for MIRACLES and a testimony for others who have gone through this and that Sarah's mom will have a testimony to help other women. I come against any and all foreign matter in the body of this women ....In Jesus' Mighty name....AMEN!

Sarah, I am so sorry to hear of this news. I am praying for your mom - I pray that God would lay his healing hand on your mom. Keep the faith, it is all we have sometimes. Lean on Him, He will be your strength. Please keep us updated. God bless you and your entire family.

Sarah, I am so sorry that this has happened. I will pray that God will comfort you and your Mother in the next few weeks and months. I will pray that the surgery will be able to remove any cancerous cells, and that she will have a speedy recovery.

I just wanted to pop in one last time on this thread and thank you all again for all of your prayers and well wishes.

~Rebekah~ That was beautiful.....

Mom's MRI looked "good" in the sense that no other masses were found and the other breast was clear. So far...it looks like just the 2 lymph nodes are infected...but they will not know for sure until they do sugury. They want her to do at least 4 round of chemo before sugury....I guess it helps to shrink everything down and makes surgury easier. I'm just praying to God that this has not spread anywhere else!

I pay for peace beyond all comprehension for your family and for mom. I pray that everything will go well with the surgery and that anything foreign will be gone in the name of Jesus! I pray for healing upon your mothers body and I pray for health and Victory over this cancer...In Jesus Mighty Name...AMEN!!
