Default Pre-Care Conceive Vitamins and Constipation

This is really embarrassing....however is anyone else taking these Pre-Care Conceive Vitamins and having sever constipation. I drink tons of water so I know it isn't dehydration but what can I do about it. I am in some pain here and I don't know what to do to make things flow easier...I never had this problem till taking those vitamins. Thanks for advice.

Default Iron in Pre-natal vitamins

Hi...
I am taking regular vitamins and was having the same problem. Prenatal vitamins have that extra Iron in them. Iron can cause constipation. If you have a food or drink that makes you go (mine is orange juice) poop. Try eating or drinking that daily. Hope you feel better... good luck!

Hi, Shandela,
I agree with the iron comment. I've heard several people say they can't tolerate much iron. The other forums here that focus on diet and alternative therapies talk a lot about vitamins. Many doctors believe we should all be on fiber supplements of some kind. That might be all you need.
Just curious, but are you sure you're not insulin resistant? Many of us being treated for it were within the normal range or close to it on our labwork but have responded well to meds. I happened to notice that your weight is in the range that many cysters here started in and have responded well to metformin.
Good luck,
Sheri

It is possible...that i am IR but the doctor didn't say I was maybe she didn't check though I asked her to. She isn't very nice so she may not care. I will ask the next time I am in there. Thanks for everyones advice. I will try taking Fiber Supplements
