Has anyone tried this I just sched my first massage on Friday 30mins for $35.00 not bad I truly beleave we all need to try and relax cause it seems like when we are on a TTC break is when it happens! I've had 2 since I've been preggers. They were both at different places & I thoguh enjoyed each of them they weren't the best I've ever had. One place made me lie on my left side the whole time. The massage was good on 1/2 of my body, but the other 1/2 felt neglected!! She had to reach under me to work on the left side & it felt ok, but I much, much, much prefer the spa that uses the big tables with the belly indentions. I'm ready to schedule more, but they are $$$ here so I'm not going to go until the end of the month.

Oh wait, sry I just realized you are ttc. Why are you opting for the prenatal? I'd LOVE to be able to get a regular swedish or deep tissue but they aren't recommended if your preggers. Eiother way, enjoy your time & RELAX!!! You'll get your bfp soon!

I've been going for several years since I have herniated discs in my back and I can tell you that it makes a huge difference for me and helps me manage my stress. I tend to have a lot of anxiety when TTC and this totally helps me. I am fortunate because it is covered by my insurance because of my back and knee problems and I go 16 times per year. I love my therapist and she tracks my cycle with me so if I have appointments during the time I may be preggers she is sure to not do certain massage types or avoids certain areas of my body.
I also had prenatal massage monthly or bi-weekly (toward the end) of my last pregnancy and this helped me with swelling and stress too.

I think you should continue them while ttc and enjoy!! I had 3 in the month before my wedding and it was the best stress relief. Totally worth it.
@Jessietex- That totally sucks you had to lie on your left side the whole time! I was able to lie on both sides for the massage.

I am a massage therapist and know that massage and touch are a great way to destress.
Also if u are preggers massage is great. I personaly dont like to massage the client whilst on their side. i invested in belly pillows so the client can lay face down.
please please please be sure to tell ur therapist when u do get bfp. there are certain areas which cant be massaged and certain oils also. They need to know as u are only allowed 30 min massage with at least 5 min seated so ur blood pressure comes back to normal.
enjoy the massage and de stress time. it def wont hurt when ttc.
