Pre/Post embryo transfer accupuncture??

I'm currently doing my 2nd FET cylce and this time I figured I'd add accupuncture. I've heard great things about Pre/Post ET sessions. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this. Also, what is the time frame for Pre/Post. My clinic is an hr away from home & the my acupunctist is near my house. He only has certain days he's in the office but said he'd work with me but I'm wondering if I should see him right before we head to the ET and then go right back to his office after ET? Or is the day before/after suffice. Thanks ladies!

I did acu approx. 3 hrs. after transfer. I don't think I did it right before transfer, but I did right before retrieval.

My sweet baby girl just turned one!

I should add that I did about 5 - 6 sessions throughout the whole IVF cycle. Some were during stims, then one before retrieval, one after transfer, one after BFP.

AWW, CONGRATS!! I'm hoping & praying for the same results. Was your cycle fresh or FET?

It was fresh. I am a total believer in the acu. A friend of mine had 3 failed cycles, did acu for the 4th and has a beautiful daughter now. There are scientific studies that show that it can improve IVF success rates. Who knows - it could be coincidence, but I do believe the studies. Best of luck to you!!

Well I think I'm there with you as a believer! I had my first lining check today for my FET and at baseline my lining was 4.4 that was last Thursday. Today...only 5 days on the estrace my lining is a whooping 8.9!!! I'm thrilled...I just have to maintain this until transfer on Sept. 11th.
