I have used it a few times now and I like it. I am hoping for a BFP with it this time! My RE recommended it to me also.

What is it and where can I get it? Im on 500 mg of Met a day right now and trying to chart (finding it hard). I just stopped af a few days ago, after dealing with her sense the middle of August. Im working on loosing weight and my doctor is waiting till the begining of January to see if I "o". We are trying to have a baby, have been trying naturally for 3 years. If I dont "o" before my next apointment, my doc wants to put me on clomid. Infertility is not covered by our insurance, but then again, our insurance sucks. $550 a month with a $3000 deductable. Im not familuar with insurance policies, but even my doctor said ours was horrible. We dont plan on going any further with infertility treatment beyond clomid, just because we cant afford it. Im really hoping I can just "o" without it. Having a baby is all I seem to be able to think about for the past month. Sorry for the long post, just kinda needed to let it out. Thanks!

Hey Laura Lee- Pre seed can be bought at some stores, but it depends on where you are located. I got mine at babyhopes.com I got a pack with 10 use tubes and some pregnancy tests for like 30.00. Depending on how much you need to use, 10 tubes may last you much longer...it has me. I just wanted to let you know that there is hope for you to O on just met and weight loss, some women do. And just so you are aware if you happen to not O on clomid there is also a drug called femara that is around the same price. They use it when there is no response to clomid, as in my case. I O'd nicely on femara but nothing on clomid. Make sure that you ask a lot of questions because there are meds that don't cost an arm and a leg. Sorry about your insurance though. I am so blessed to have insurance that covers 50% fertility treatment. There is no way we could have done everything we have without it. Good luck to you!

I have heard such great things about preseed. I want to try it as well, but I'm a little nervous about it. I've never used any sort of lubricant before.

Lowfat- I hadn't either because I never thought I needed anything for comfort or anything but especially when you are on fertility meds a lot of times it drys up the fertile CM and sperm can't swim well...so hopefully this helps.

I used it both times I got pg and I don't know if I would have my little girl without it. I definitely think it's worth it. Don't be nervous about it. It's completely safe and feels really good too If you go to preseed.com, the website will tell you stores near you that sell it. It's usually only specialty drugstores or you can buy it online.

I would recommend PreSeed.

With my DD, we got pregnant using clomid, metformin, and IUI, so CM and additional lubrication was not an issue.

With this pregnancy, we wanted to try more naturally and without clomid. I did go back on metformin, but this baby is the result of metformin and PreSeed alone. I had always worried that my CM was not great. We got lucky after only 2 months of trying this time, which still astounds me, but my cycles had regulated a lot after my DD was born, so I think that had a lot to do with it too.

GL!
