Default Precose/Acarbose (When do the Side Effects Go Away?)

I have read all the posts on Precose. Just started and, as expected, the side effects have too. Bloating and gas is excruciating, to the point that I feel like I am having labor contractions and can't stand up from a seated position. This is after eating a low-carb dinner. Please, for those of you who have taken it, tell me that these farty side effects go away and if so, how long did it take?

Angry MISERABLE EXPERIENCE

I took this drug for 4 months with the side effects NEVER disappearing. I finally took myself off of it a few weeks back. I have never experienced GAS like that. This is an embarrasing subject but you girls have to know! I take Metformin ER (generic) and am taking two pills in the a.m and one with lunch. Normally you take them all at once but I need that extra boost with meals. I am trying to figure out what works for me. I have been taking this for about 4 years but sometimes I have to work the dose around a little bit. Good Luck!
