    Default pregnancy

    i am 3 and a half months pregnate and have had pcos since i was 13 and now am 24. i dont know alot about this syndrom. i really am not sure what to do about being pregnate with pcos. if anyone can give me some insight i would appriciate it. i have told all my doctors about my pcos but curently do not have any insurance so i never see the same doctor most of the time i go to the e.r. i was informed there is a high risk of miscarriage with pcos and was wondering if the risk fades the farther you are along.

    Hi there! Welcome to SoulCysters! First of all, congratulations on the pg! Have you been prescribed any meds or sent for any testing? Having not been pg yet, I'm not sure of all the precautions really. I have heard a lot about progesterone supplementation, but I think that's only for the first 12 weeks. If someone can correct me pls do. I've also heard about increased concern of gestational diabetes. Feel free to jump in on the pregnancy board. There's a lot of support and information there. HTH

    Hi! Congratulations on your pregnancy! You should join the pregnancy board and your due date group.

    So far I've had a "normal", uneventful pregnancy and haven't had to do anything out of the ordinary.
