My dr said that the nurse was a know it all looked at 1 word and thought that she knew what she was talking about. I am 11 days past IUI!

Riley Joshua was born 4/14/08 @ 6:23pm. He weighed 7lbs 5 oz and was 20 inches long!
My c-section went great. we had some extra bleeding at the end but it all worked out!
We are home now and soooooo in love with our little man. The only real stressful thing was breast feeding! My milk just came in yesterday so the whole time i was at hospital i didnt have any. Riley lost 8 percent of his birth wieght in 2 days and i was sooooo upset because theres nothing i could do. We didnt want to give him any formula because he already has latching issues so lactation told us we should give him any nipples---bottles or binkis. It broke my heart! Finally yesterday my milk came in---and did it ever! LOL--its pouring out of me now and the flow is so strong my poor little man gets covered in it everytime i feed! We do have to use a nipple sheild because he just wont latch, but we are gonna keep seeing lactaion specialist to try and get past it!
I just cant believe hes finally here--i cant believe the love u have for your children---ive just never expereinced anything like this

Carol - Sounds similar to what I went through w/this pregnancy! In my case, I had done some b/w during my cycle and I called to get my results. The nurse told me "Sorry, you're not pg so stop taking all your meds." I'm like, duh I know I'm not pg because I haven't even ovulated yet! Needless to say, once I set her straight and I continued w/my injections, etc. I ended up pg and now have a beautiful baby!

ladies, thank you so much much for the kind words and messages. i went for a scan on wednesday and they queried an ectopic but told me there was no viable pregnancy was admitted into hospital and was operated on thursday morning, they managed to save the tube but also had to remove large cyst off my ovary this was all done through keyhole surgey i came home last night am very sore at the moment as have quite a few stitches in my belly button dont feel like ive had chance to grieve baby yet as its been a whirlwind of medical procedures.

I have not been on the computer in a while. The computer had a virus thing so we had to buy a new one. I have also not had time to get on the computer either (teething stinks!). Congratulations to all the new babies and the new pregnancies. Good luck!

Hi,
I had yet to post on here, but I have been lurking. My only BFP turned out to be an ectopic which I had to terminate in 12/07. I am fearful, of not just another loss, but another ectopic. I know that no one understands more than people who are in the same situation, so I'd like to join the group.
So far...I got a BFP at 10dpo. I had a beta done at 11dpo, it was 57. I had another done at 13dpo, it was 99. My doctor must have been satisfied since I am not scheduled to do another till 18dpo (Monday).
