Pregnancy and Infant loss awareness Month

I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month!

If you are strong enought to answer questions, you can were a pink and blue ribbon in honor of the month and your little ones lost. BUT, don't wear one if you cannot answer questions because people will ask! It is a great opportunity to let people know that our angels are in our lives and are remembered everyday! I think alot of people who have never been through this think that there is an initially period of mourning and then the family moves on - not true.

Since it is also Breast cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness month, I just wanted to make sure you all realized that it is also the month for our angels also...

Edited to add: October 15 is "rememberance day" and is a great day to light a candle for your precious angels and for the other angels around the world.

My mom just told me about this also. She said her therapist gave her a pink & blue pin. Her therapist told her that she asked someone that gave it to her (they made it) if she could give it to someone else and ask she asked her, she thought of my mom.

My mom also said there is a memorial service and a rememberance service at the local hospital near for next wednesday and the wed. after.

I'm happy that this just isn't a forgot thing that happens.
