I think today is one of the hardest days of my lives. My DH & I did our first round of IVF and found out we got a BFP May 6th. I started bleeding and cramping on Friday and it was confirmed today(6 weeks) my beta is dropping rapidly. I'm just sooo sad and wish I could understand why God would give me something I wanted SO badly and just rip it away from us.
Does anyone know of any good books to deal with the grief of early pregnancy loss?? websites? I'm just looking for an easy read to pass the time at the point!

sweethb- i am so sorry for your loss. i understand all to well the pain of miscarriage. I have experienced 3 so far...Its not fair thats for sure. And i at times have also questioned God and he fairness of life. My last m/c was 2/09 and i am still greiving my loss. All of mine were early just as yours was. If you put miscarriage in your search engine it will bring up tons of information. This site is a great source of info also from women who have been there and understand what you are feeling. Again i am so so sorry for your loss. If i can be of any help please let me know. Praying for you in your time of weakness....

heather, i'm so sorry. it seems so unfair that we want this bad and try so hard to only have our hearts broken. today has got to be one of the most difficult days and tomorrow may be harder.
there is not much i can do to help, but i did find a great book that really validated my feelings when i thought i was loosing my mind. "A Silent Sorrow: Pregnancy loss" by Ingris Kohn and Perry Lynn Moffitt. i found it on amazon for a steal.

I found great comfort on this forum actually. Most books I read were just not right, I don't know how to explain it... they didn't speak to me, or they were aimed at later term losses.
If you ever need to rant, vent, get support... feel free to post here. We all need to release at some point and time. I go from screaming to crying a lot. Grieving is a hard process.
