~~~~It has already been mentioned, but I just want to say that I, too, see a distinction between "positive thought/energy" and "prayer". It was NOT my intention in suggesting this thread to exclude anyone, and I don't think the word "prayer" does that. I'm cool with whatever you, as moderator, decide is best. Just wanted to let you know my thoughts~~~~
I just wanted to say.... that in this statement when you say that you dont want to exclude anyone but you dont think that the word prayer does that....
Were can see your side what you may call prayer someone else may just call talking out loud.... this way no one is left out or can even feel leftt out....
Julie, What great news about Mitch and Anna. I am so glad to hear that she is recovering well. I pray that her physical recovery goes smoothly. I am sure that will help her father.
CanadaCandy, Thanks for the sticky. This is going to be a hot thread. I hope that cysters of all walks of life will join us. Thanks again.
I had said in an earlier post that I agreed with Leisa S, and I still do. However, I am like Julie I would not want someone to feel that they could not join us. I think that prayer is a positive thing and it helps us to have positive thoughts about the things that are going on in our lives. All I want to do is to let others know that we are here to intercede for them, there are times that we can't even find the faith in ourselves to pray for self, and that is where others fit into the plan. Even when we can pray for ourselves it is great to have others to help out. Sorry to go on and on, just how I feel. I am praying right now that this thread will be used in a positive way, that should be the prayer of all of us that are active in this thread.
I hope that I haven't offended anyone. Really I do. Please if I have PM me so that we can work it out.
God's love to all my cysters!
Cristi Meredith
Cristi, what a beautiful prayer. Thank you very much for your prayer and kind words.
I will be praying for Tyler and his parents. I can only imagine what they all must be going through. That is so sad.
Yvette, I am SO VERY sorry for your loss.
Leisa....I found myself beginning to think about what was going on, so the post was for me too. I can't imagine how you are spending your time on bedrest. I am praying for you and for a safe delivery of those babies . You hang in there. God is good and we will give Him the glory for all things.
Okay, I agree that it would probably NOT be God's will for us to use this thread to fuss and argue over wording of the title! Let's get back to our focus on His real work of lifting one another up!
Peace and big welcome to all,
Julie
Okay Gals......
I have a request for you all......
My MIL is a diabetic Type II. Until recently she was only having to take insulin at night. Now, she is on a sliding scale 4 times a day. Well, she is not checking her glucose levels, therefore she is not taking her insulin. She had bypass x 2 last year, and doesn't have heart healthy diet. My FIL passed away 3 1/2 years ago, we thought that when she got it together she would take better care of herself....then we thought that after this heart scare....then she found someone, fell in love and is getting married and we thought that would do it. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have talked to her until I was blue in the face, she just blows me off. I am praying that she will see the light. Her fiance has already burried one wife and I would hate to see him have to go through it again. I would hate for Jeff(dh) to go through losing another parent too. Please pray for her and for all of us too. It is so stressfull. Thanks!
Cristi
Michele -- How wonderful God is. I'm so happy to hear about your positive results. I will continue to pray for you and your baby.
Shabach -- I will be praying for Tyler and his family. I am also praying for you and your DH.
Cristi -- that was a beautiful and touching prayer, thank you for sharing it with us. I will be praying that your MIL will start taking better care of herself and that the Lord will protect her health. I will keep you, your DH and your MIL's fiance in my prayers also.
Julie -- I'm so glad to hear that your friend Mitch and his daughter Anna are doing better. I will continue to keep them in my prayers.
Smile Happy Saturday, Cysters!
Hope everyone is doing well. I'm also continuing to pray on all our requests. The Lord has really helped me out emotionally the last two days. I've been able to be on a much more even keel. So thank you all for your prayers! God is good!!
Love to all,
Julie
Unhappy I need all the prayers I can get!
Hi All,
I hope everyone is doing well. I too continue to pray for you all.
I went for my 2nd beta today and it didn't double. It was 43.8 on Thursday and today it was 64.3! The last time I went through this with my betas not doubling. It was like torture. We finally saw a HB and 3 days later I MC'd. I don't want to go through all that again this time. If this is not meant to be then I wish it would be over quickly. I can't understand why I am able to get PG with IVF but I can't get my betas to rise properly.
I am SO worried and can't help crying. We are SO happy each time we get and yet each time we worry so much. I am too afraid to be the least bit excited over this PG.
In my prayers I've told God that I am putting this in his hands. And when we got the call that we were PG again I felt like God really answered our prayers. Now I don't understand what's happening. I am still leaving this up to God but why is this happening? What have I done wrong to be teased like this?
Sometimes I wish my DH and I didn't have this sickening desire to have a baby. Can anyone relate?
Thanks all
Michele,
I am praying for you so diligently this weekend. I am praying for you to find comfort and strength in God's arms. Please remember that we are here for you, whether it is to rejoice or to cry. You are welcome to pm me at anytime. Please keep us posted. Try and get some rest this weekend. When will you go to the DR again? I can remember having such a desire to have a child, however, I had already had DD when I m/c'd. Hang in there and you have done the right thing by placing it in the hands of God. I am sending you lots of ****babydust**** too!!!!!! God bless!
Smile Thank You
Hi,
Thank you SO much for your prayers. I need all I can get right now. As I am sure many others need as well.
I am resting this weekend. Feeling some cramps here and there. Nothing major I've been told that some cramps are normal.
I will go back for another beta and an US. I will keep you all posted. I know God is great and I know he will see me through this. Especially, with all your prayers.
I'm a little late on reading this post but I would love to join in and pray for all the cysters. While I don't always post each time I read a post I pray for that cyster...for peace and healing, to rejoice and praise God for the miracles each and every day, and to pray that His will will be done.
Through faith and prayer from all my family I now have my precious Aubriana. I would like to share a bit of wisdom I received from my cousin when I was in my darkest days and was doubting my faith. She held my hands and told me that "all prayers are answered but they are answered in God's time not mine". For me God's time had us waiting for 7 years and as I now look down at my miracle she is worth every second of that time. With prayer ANYTHING is possible. I will pray for each and every one of you!
Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is. I am continuing to pray for everyone in the prayer chain.
Michele -- I'm so sorry for what you are going through right now, it must be so difficult. I will continue to keep you in my prayers this weekend. I pray that God will comfort you and give you strength through this difficult time. I understand about your desire to have a child. It's been 7 years of trying and I still can't give up, my desire is too strong. I'm here if you ever need to talk, just pm me.
