Pregnancy and showing?

I wanted to satisfy my own curiosity about when most women start showing.
I realize it depends on each individual person, and each pregnancy, but still...

Also, (being a plus sized woman myself) I wondered if being plus sized makes a difference on when someone shows?

Just curious. I have my first doc appt. on Monday, and I don't plan on telling anyone, besides DH, for as long as I can... I am worried this bean won't stick, so I am extremely leary of telling anyone... I can't even believe it yet.

Yeah - it was definitely around 5 months. It wasnt until 6 months that I first felt her move. I was 238lbs when I got preg. Not sure if that makes a difference with you or not.

I am a relatively fluffy cyster about (215) and I really didnt start showing until I was about 6 1/2-7 months along. I wore my regular jeans up until then. I can still get into them but very hard to button..lol I think its just different for every woman. A friend of mine who is a tad bit fluffier than me started showing about 4 months along.

I think it's be a bit humorous to surprise everyone with a baby without telling them I was pregnant (I don't see them often anyways) Ahh.. just a thought I toy with, wouldn't actually do it. I'm thinking about telling when/if I get into the second trimester. I probably won't be showing then.....

I'm 260, and I already have a bump that showed up in the eighth week. If I'm in something tight you can see my bulge. I think it really just depends on the person.

I am a fluffy cyster (216) and right now at 17 weeks I am still not really showing. If I wear maternity clothes I am but if I just wear regular clothes I just look fluffy.

I started at 180 lb. I had a round baby belly at 26 weeks, but no one told me I was showing until 30 weeks. I was disappointed at the time, but now that I'm big as a house I'm thankful I only had the big belly to contend with part of the time.

with my first i was about 180 and started showing around 4 months. )i tried hard!) i also ate alot!

this time, i could really see a bump at 12 weeks and i started out around 200.

its all very different! i think my fat just shifted with this one! LOL. GL!!!

Yup, it all depends on the person. I have a good sized belly, but it's always been down around my belly button. I didn't think I'd get a nice pregnant tummy because of it, but lo and behold I am carrying my little guy way up high. I've been showing since about 16-18 weeks. It's REALLY obvious now and I love my belly, it starts right under my boobies and is nice and round, I just love it. He's pulled all my fluff from other parts of my body right to my tummy, so I'm nice and smooth now too. I really thought I'd just look like a rhinoceroses when I got PG, but I lucked out!!

Short waisted sister here with long legs... I am about a size 16 normally and started showing toward the end of my 3rd month..

I was about 16 weeks or 4 months and I am 5'2 and 260. I am more hippy and chunky legs so my belly went right on out.

I'm a relatively slim cyster and only 5'2" and I didn't show till about 7 months to be perfectly honest. I had a tiny little bump but as soon as I put clothes on I just looked a little chubby not pregnant. Hell, I even at 5 months along had this old woman kick me out of my seat on the bus so she could sit down! I was really upset.

At 7 months I went to bed one night and woke up like a balloon! It was bizzare.
But then, I also lost the weight really quick as well. Within about 2 days of Cian's birth I was back in my normal clothes which was awesome. I just didn't gain much weight.

I remember at about 16 weeks talking to some friends of my partner and one asked "oh so you're what, about 8 weeks?" "NO" "oh, you don't look pregnant that's all"
Grrr. Still, it was probably a good thing. at the time I was really upset that I wasn't showing but once I became like a beachball with legs I think I began to appreciate all those months I was slim hahah.

Im a slim cyster, and STILL waiting to show! I do have a bump going, but it just looks like I had too much for dinner, not a pregnancy belly. I can still wear all my regular pants and can even button them still! Im beginning to wonder if I will ever look pregnant *lol*
