I was 206 when I got pregnant the first time. I didn't show until about 18 weeks. (my stomach was smaller then) and even then some people didn't see it.

I was 230lbs when I got pregnant the second time, I started showing at 10-12 weeks. But I got pregnant 10 months after I had my first...so I believe that is why.

This time I had developed a bigger belly beforehand. I weighed 230lbs before getting pregnant. This time I was about 23-24 weeks before I was actually showing. I looked like I was getting heavier before, but my belly didn't look pregnant.

I think it depends on your body type and where the fluff lies. Some women are thin and don't show until later. There is really no way to tell until you get there. (sorry!)

Actually, I rather liked being all round, but it got old reaaaal fast hahah.
I was like you, didn't start to need to wear maternity clothes till fairly late on and even when I did balloon out I didn't really get that massive, it just looked it because i'm so short.

I weighed 230lbs during my first pg and I didn't start showing until 6 1/2-7 months. My friends knew I was pg and said I was starting to look pg at about 5 1/2-6 months, but strangers couldn't really tell for another month.

This time around I was 250lbs at the beginning of the pg, lost 10 lbs by the end of my first trimester. I started showing at about 4 1/2-5 months. I am also carrying the baby differently. My first pg, I got wide and carried all over. This time the baby belly is all out front.

People started noticing that I was pregnant when I got into my 7th month. Before that, you could tell if you knew, but if you didn't know I was pregnant I wasn't really looking it. Now you can definately tell! I am a skinny cyster though, and I really have not gained a lot of weight, ALL baby. Congrats on you BFP! The nerves will die down... only to come back again. LOL But it gets better~!

I gained about 20 pounds after I got married so people have been saying I look pregnant for the last year! Now that I am pregnant it doesnt hurt my feelings as much even though I know it is all me, not baby

I was about a 12/14 pre-pregnancy and I did not think I was every going to show it seemed if all of my pregnant friends would show early on. I am showing now for sure but I would say it was about 22 weeks before I could really tell and now finally people are saying Are you pregnant? and I am about 27 weeks.

Haha, I know, Im so scared Im going to wake up and be huge---nothing will fit, etc. Im about 5'5 though, so maybe I won't look too huge. Who knows!!!

Wow, such huge differences in when people showed!
I think a majority of you showed late though...

I'll be happy if I don't until after the beginning of June, SIL is getting married and I don't want to tell anyone until after her wedding. Besides, by then I'll better able to accept that this might be happening. I am so excited, but so scared that if I get excited that something will go wrong!

But if I can just wait until then... that was SIL can have her big day and all that. And I can have my time to acknowledge that it might stick and that I can have the baby I dreamed of... That'd be good, lol.

Oh, CAMMAM, I wanted to add that I know what you mean!
My MIL has been asking me if I as pregnant since I have been with DH.
I only see her a couple of times a year, but she always asks! I couldn't figure out why, but I think I get it. I gained about 50lbs in the 5 years I have been with DH... and ALL of that weight went into one spot... yeah, my tummy! I gained it pretty quick, she was asking more often when I was gaining the weight. She hasn't asked as much since it platued off to my steady current weight. I mean a gain like a pound a year now, but nothing like I did those early years! Oi!

Is anyone here short? I am only 5'2 (ok more like 5'1 1/2) and people have been telling me that I will show earlier because it has no where to go but out!

I'm short, we are the same height actually. I'm about 5'2 1/4. I don't know if it made me show sooner (but I'm a big girl, so that contributed to that) but I can tell you once I did start showing people thought I was further along than I was. My first son was just sigh of 10lbs at birth, but the time I was 36-37 weeks pg with him alot of people thought I was having twins. That pg I carried wide, all over the place. I didn't really have a cute little pg tummy. I was all tummy. This pg I'm all out front and can't wait to see how big I look this time in another few weeks. lol

I am 5'4 1/2 inches, but I have long legs and short body, and I didn't show until fairly late with my pregnancies, but I am also pretty fluffy!
