I'm 5'2" and 120lb.. I showed LATE...
I carried small I suppose and in the end it was mostly water, I was about half the size once my waters broke lol.

My bbs didn't get any bigger till after the birth either, I mean, they hurt more so I had to wear maternity bras but they were the same size as my regular bras just without the underwire.

That is where we differ for sure!! Since getting pregnant, Ive gone from a 34c (since I was 16 years old!!) to a 36D!! My boobs seem so huge now compared to what they were before. Im sure that half the 5 lbs Ive gained is in my boobs.

I showed early both with DS and this baby. With DS I was about 195 and was showing by 9-10 weeks. It really bugged me because everyone treated me like a freak... "are you sure you're not having twins"

With this baby, I started at 185 lbs and was popping by 7 weeks and in my maternity pants (on the smallest size of course). No joke. I couldn't hide it because I'd see friends and family's eyes dart down to my stomach in question. I'm at 11 weeks now and look like I am 6 months. I don't know why, but I guess as long as the baby is healthy I should quit complaining and be happy!

Of course us short people add the 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 etc to the height. Like Sarah said, when you are short you need all the height you can get. My Mom (who is 5'7) laughs at me when I say I'm 5'2 1/4. She just doesn't understand!

My first pg I went from a 36ddd to a 42h by the time I delivered and was wearing nursing bras. Talk about a huge growth spurt in that department. I'm already in a 42h now, I am not looking forward to seeing how big I am when my milk comes in this time. Needless to say, it took a while before my stomach out grew my boobs. There comes a point where your boobs are just too big and I have hit that point.

Shelby - I can sympathize with the are you carrying twins remark. I was never sure what I wanted to do about it when it happened to me. Some days it made me want to cry and other days it made me mad. I know people aren't trying to be mean, but imo why don't you just go "wow you are huge!" rather than asking "are you carrying twins?" Safe thing if you ask me...

I think I'd hurt someone if they said that, unless I was carrying twins, lol.

I'm a thin cyster and at 109lbs before pregnancy and am now 115lbs and am only 10 1/2 weeks along! I can no longer zip up my pants and those that know I am pregnant can definately tell. Those that don't know are probably supsecting because all of the weight is right in front!

Are you kidding? When I was around 8 months and really showing a basketball in front, I remember a total stranger saying, "boy you look like you're ready to pop any minute now, don't you!"

I was mortified and very upset.

I blows my mind when strangers say that stuff too, but they do. Some are really nice about it and will just ask the normal polite questions. But you always seem to run into a few winners who open their mouth before they think.

Hey, its not just strangers! I had a pretty close friend say "I hope you don't get all fat and gross!" when I told her I was pregnant. Nice, huh?
