Question premature babies/heart problems?

i was just wondering if anyone else was a premie baby when they were born or if they were born with a heart problem.
i was 3 months early when i was born and they actually asked my parents if they could do an autopsy because they thought i was not going to make it. i was on life support and they turned it off but yay
after that they said i would have numerous complications..cerable (sp) palsey, being smaller than other kids my age ect. but luckly i have not had anything like that.
i was however diagnosed with something called Wolfe Parkinson White Syndrom and when i was 19 i had surgury to take care of it. i also had mitro valve prolapse and a small hole in my heart. it really has not affected my life too much. like i said the surgury really helped with the fast heartbeats and being out of breath all the time.
i was just curious if anyone else the had PCOS were also premie and had heart problems.

I wasn't a preemie, but I was born 2 weeks LATE weighing only 5lbs 12 oz. That is very small for a late baby! I had numerous problems (none of them with my heart though), including chronic pneumonia (from which I almost died), ear infections and for a while the doctor was going to diagnose me as failure to thrive (failure to meet specific growth standards due to not taking in or utilizing nutrition properly, eventually leading to other developmental problems). I, however, ended up fine. I eventually found my bottle, started eating and haven't stopped yet!

I was born at 26 weeks and weighed in at 2lbs 2oz. I did not have the things that you are talking about...
BUT--- I did give birth to my twin boys at 29 weeks... I have the "perfect" pregnancy but then at 26 weeks I was 4cm dialated...
I was not diagnosed PCOS then but I feel (based on some of the medical things) that PCOS had a least a little to do with it...
Blessings

My sister and I were both bang on our due dates I believe. I was a partially induced labour and thanks to my mother being on bed rest I was just over 7lb. My sister however, was 4lb11 at full term and the doctors thought my mother had the dates wrong! She was the normal length for a full term baby, just skinny. She's still like that to this day, 30 years later. ONly problem she's got is a super fast metabolism, it's gotten worse as she's gotten older. She jokes that if she doesn't eat every 2 hours she gets grumpy but sadly, it's true, she actually needs to eat all the time to fight off nausea caused by hunger.
I have pcos, don't think she does, my mother has never been diagnosed but has the excess hair and my aunt and cousin both have it.
Dunno if pcos has anything to do with other illnesses though. I have chest pain problems, low blood pressure, a rather crap immune system and terrible allergies. The chest pain is the most irritating but they've as yet found no actual reason for them.
