I went to my NEW OB/GYN yesterday with DH and we think that he will be good for us! I told him how I was on day 23 of AF and I needed help. He said I needed estrogen to stop the bleeding. So I am on Premphase, a hormone replacement therapy for menopausal women. Has ANYONE done this? Then in 14 days he said I should start another AF and start taking a BCP called Yasmin. He told me my old doc treating me wrong and I would probably never ovulate on Clomid! UGH! Two horrible months of disapointment for nothing? New DR said that I will need to do injectables in order to ovulate and get pregnant. He can do them! My old DR said that I would have to travel 3 or 4 hours out of town in order to do the injectables!!! He knows that my new DR does them but they don't like the new DR because he left the practice. Does that make sense??
Anyway, it make me mad that I could be pregnant if I would have gone to my new DR in the first place. Since DH has gotten laid off and the end of January will be the end of benefits I think I might have to take a break until we get new benefits! I guess I should just be happy that I am on the right road. At least I think I am!!
If anyone has been on Premphase could you let me know how it worked?
PREMPHASE!! I am taking estrogen! HOPE IT WORKS!!!
