Default prenatals

I wasn't sure where to post this, I guess it's considered medication...
I was wondering if anyone experienced nausea after starting prenatal vitamins. I'm not pg, just starting to try, but after 3 days on the vits I am not feeling so hot...

I'll let you know... today was my day one on New Chapters Prenatals... and I'm not pg either (but wishing always it were so).

Yes, I did. Now that I have taken them for years, I'm fine. It's quite common for prenatal vitamins to cause nausea. If you are not already, it really helps to take them after you have eaten a full meal. I have heard of some ladies who take them right before bed and don't have any problems. I tried that and woke up with a raging headache. So...the taking them after a full meal really worked quite well for me. Hope this helps.

Good luck to you!

Sending tons of baby dust your way!

I did!! It is horrible. I now take them with food and it is much better. I take a few bites, my vits and then finish eating and am all good. Hope that might help you.

I have to take them with a meal, if I take them on an empty stomach I feel nauseas. I would try taking them either on a full stomach or with a glass of milk.
