Question Prepping for Laser Hair Removal?

I need some advice! I am currently thinking about making an appointment to see someone that does laser hair removal. I definitely want to get my upper lip done, and my lower legs, maybe also unibrow. I was wondering, what do I need to do to prep for the consultation and/or removal? Do I have to let the hair grow to a certain length or anything? Also, I have to use acne cream, including BenzaCline, will that affect anything?
Thanks!

I did not have to do anything, just stop plucking or waxing about 3 weeks before your appointment. You can shave before hand, but it is not necessary. I prefer to trim to keep up between appointments. The more treatments, the less that will be necessary. I hope you find the same happy results I have.

For the consultation, you'll want a teensy bit of growth, just so they can see 'what's what'.

Shinwin is correct about when the treatments begin that you can't pluck or wax for 3 weeks prior to your first treatment (so if you want to begin treatment within a day or two of your consultation, keep this in mind.)

My laser center asks that everyone come clean shaven for treatments. If the hair is too long, there's a chance it might 'spark'.

I broke down, and did my lower legs and underarms this year. Soooooooooo glad I did...soooooooooo glad.

You just need to make sure you're not currently taking any photosensitive medication such as that cream. If it's photosensitive there the laser could potentially burn you. Keep in mind that you cannot have a treatment if you have a suntan, so stay out of the sun. Also, you don't want to wax or tweeze because it removes the hair and the laser has nothing to target when you have a treatment.
