Does anyone here use Preseed?

Did anyone here get their BFP with it?

I read in another forum that:
"PreSeed is not regarded as such a great idea for a lubricant as it may in fact be harmful to sperm after all."
but I couldn't find anything on the web that confirms this.
Has anyone else heard this?

Metformin 1500mg/day
Clomid 100mg CD 4-8

DD was conceived on CD45 after giving up on 100mg clomid and not taking provera like I usually would have while TTC. I now believe that PCOS can slow the body's reaction to hormones like clomid. WAIT TWO MONTHS before starting another cycle of clomid!!! Don't give up too soon, give that little baby a chance to implant!

I have gotten bfp's twice by using preseed. Last time was a m/c and this time will hopefully go to term, but that's not really related to the preseed at all. My point is that apparently it either works or it doesn't hurt! I have not heard that it is harmful to sperm. I have known several people to get bfp's while using it. Still, I suppose if I had gobs and gobs of EWCM, I wouldn't bother with it... why add anything else to the mix? But without good CM, I would definitely take that chance!

I used Preseed and Instead Cups the cycle I got pregnant, so for me Im going to say its good. It certainly didn't hurt us!

I used preseed also. I used it for 4 cycles, I think it helps. I didn't feel like I was making enough mucus during my fertile days and since other products can kill spermies I went with preseed.

Got my BFP with clomid 50mg, Preseed, but I credit it most to my OV WATCH!!! Helped to time things perfectly. The first three cycles with clomid/preseed resulted in BFNs.

Never gotten pregnant with Preseed and have used it through out a 2 year term on and off. It's not suppose to harm sperm.

I got my BFP with my 4 year old using PreSeed. I am also using it during TTC now. I've never heard that it harms sperm, and, frankly, unless I see an accurate study that shows it does, I don't believe it.

OMG, I didn't even realize that the lube you use may causes issues while your TTC. That must be the blonde in me though. I just now ordered the Pre to be on the safe side of things.

I've only heard one bad thing about it. On another board I visit there was one lady who's RE told her not to use it because her husband had bad all around SA results. Said sometimes pre-seed is too thick and can actually slow some of those bad swimmers down too much. But her doctor was also a HUGE nay-sayer of a lot of things natural...very much so a "well science hasn't proven it so it won't work" kind of guy. Was very against acupuncture and herbal supplements saying that they don't work at all.........right......

So take what he said about the pre-seed with a grain of salt. I've never heard anything else bad about it.
