Mine comes free on the NHS. Isn't this standard?

I got mine for free at the fertility clinic - not even a prescription charge!

Question Another clomid question?

Thanks for your replies. Is there anyway I can make sure I can get it for free?
But if I do have to pay for it, at £6.20 how many cycles would that be for. One?

Just one last question, are all of you taking metformin along side clomid? If so do you think it enhances the likleyhood of the clomid working? I'm not entirely sure if I'll even get the clomid but if I do, do you think I should ask for metformin too? Although I have been told it can cause harm to an unborn baby so I'm confused about why it would be given along side clomid?!?

Anyway, Thanks again!

Sharky

Hi Shark girl.

Yes its £6.20 per cycle. Ask your dr about Metformin, different doctors believe in different things. He might agree for you to take it he might not, anyway best of luck to you and I hope all works out for you.

I was given 6 months worth. I think it would depend what your doc wanted to prescribe in one go.

In Ireland Clomid costs just under €10.00

its not that expensive, thank goodness.
