Default Proactiv

Have you ever tried Proactiv, and have you had success with it? Any home remedies?

i tried it about a year ago. Although it did seem to help in the start, it kind of just stopped. The acne would clear up but then new ones would pop up. I don't know why but i go to the point that i gave up. Now I use terminator 10. Its just a spot cream but i use that after washing my face and sometimse more than once a day and they tend to be gone either the next day of soon after!

I think it works but I didn't stick with it. FOr one thing, the benzoyl peroxide would get on my towels, sheets and rugs and bleach them. I can't have white everything! I'm honestly lazy to keep up with it as well.

I tried it and it didn't help at all! When I see a commercial for it I say "yeah right!" to the tv. ha

I haven't tried the proactiv either but I have had non-pcos friends that swear by it. I currently use CLinique 3 step Acne Solutions and find it is doing alright. When it stops working I will move on to proactiv b/c I can't handle the acne. For me, acne and the big tummy, are the killers.
Let me know if you give in and try it!

I've used it and I like it...but it only works when you keep up with it. And whenI get home in the morning from work, the last thing I feel like doing is making a detour to wash my face.

The price kinda puts me off too. I used to use the generic brand, Acne Free. It's available at walmart and target. And in the past, it worked great. Neutrogena has a kiit too which is supposed to be pretty good.
