Default Probiotics?

I have been reading post on here, and I see some people talk about probotics. I get a yeast infection just about every month about half way through the month, I am so tired of it, and I just cant make myself eat yogurt every day, what are probotics and where can I get them? Thanks!!

We drink Kefir it's a probiotic drink in the organic fridge section it's sorta a cross between a smoothie and yogurt. I just purchased these Tiny Tabs C Whole-Foods Probiotic Vitamin yesterday. Also, probiotic is in the fridge section of a vitamin store it's in a powder form. I can't help but think live probiotics are better but I'll know soon enough with the vitamins I purchased.

Sugar is often linked to yeast infections so you might want to make sure you cut back near the time of the month. Make sure you're super dry after taking a shower down yonder, my DO told me to use the hair dryer to help speed things along. lol I found using the OTC stuff makes things worse on me and if I let it run it's course I am better off and done in the same time frame.

I use Culturelle for DD. They also sell an adult version. I'd be inclined to talk to someone at a health food store about it, though. You'd rather spend money on something that's going to work, you know.

My naturopath just prescribed acidophilus to me today actually! Apparently not only will it aid in digestion, but it will get rid of the recurring yeast infections I've been having. And for the record, she told me that eating a yogurt a day is nothing compared to what these will do for you. In fact, she said that eating the same thing everyday is not good for you at all and she wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I bought Acidolpholis a few months ago. I purchased the chewable kind. So, I take 3-5 a day. They taste a little like candy. Acidolpholis is supposed to be a really good probiotic.
