Default PRODUCT ALERT: Tinted 'scalp cream' to mask the appearance of thinning hair

I have ABSOLUTELY no idea how this stuff works, but I stumbled upon it while looking for something on QVC...

ETA
I just noticed there's a video demonstration...click on the link, then look at the TABS above the picture. Click on the VIDEO tab.

CRC Concealing Color Hair & Scalp Cream, 1.25 oz.
http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/v...s.CM_SCID.coll

Quote:
What is it: This water-resistant, color-saturated hair and scalp cream helps create the illusion of thick, full hair.

Who is it for: Anyone who wants to mask the appearance of a bare scalp.

Why is it different: It delivers pigment to your scalp, helping to mask thinning areas and roots. Use in conjunction with volumizing products and enjoy bounce-filled hair that looks uniformly thick.

How do I use it: Squeeze a small amount onto your fingertips, and massage it onto areas of sparse or thinning hair. Or, part your hair where roots are visible and massage a small amount onto scalp and roots for coverage on the actual hair shaft. Apply to dry or damp hair. Let product set for two minutes, and style hair as usual.

From CRC.

I am so getting this product. When I dye my hair darker brown my scalp sometimes absorbs the dye a little making my thinning areas look not so thin but it never lasts. By the second shampoo the effect is gone. If I had something like this to use daily it would be awesome. I will try and let y'all know.
