Red face Progesterone

Is anyone else taking this. It says I am to take one tablet by mouth everyday for Hormone replacement.

What exactly does this do besides assist with ovulation.

Normally Progesterone is given to PCOS patients to help bring on a period, or to stop an abnormally long one. So I think it is basically to regulate the cycle.

my doctor found out that i dont really produce progesterone on my own so she made sure my bcp was mostly that so that it balances things out better for me, i have also had it prescribed by doctors before getting dx'd to get rid of my neverending periods.
